On this day in 1954, ABC premiered DISNEYLAND, an anthology series that would appear over the years on different networks and under the names WALT DISNEY PRESENTS, WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY and WONDERFUL WORLD OF COLOR (to name just a few). Thanks to THE DISNEY CHANNEL, the show continues to live even to this day.
