The release of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS was met with a mix of apathy and disdain this past week-end. Reviews were cool (at best) and the fanboy reaction usually involved frothing at the mouth.

We’re not sure why all the fuss, the CLONE WARS movie is just a teaser for the upcoming series on THE CARTOON NETWORK and the franchise has already endured EWOKS and JAR-JAR BINKS. And GEORGE LUCAS has always indicated that STAR WARS was meant to be enjoyed by the wee ones as well as the geeks.
