In ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO, the latest film from director KEVIN SMITH, SETH ROGAN and ELIZABETH BANKS play the titular best pals who find making a skin flick their only salvation from debt.

SMITH showed footage from the film at Comic-con in San Diego last week-end and talked about the fact that, while the film now carries an MPAA rating of NC-17, he’s been resubmitting it in an effort to get an R rating so that more people can see it. 

A hearing will be held August 4th to determine whether his latest cut meets R-rating standards.
